The oldest bar on Northgate is also one of the most important eating experiences on the strip — not because of the food alone, but because of what surrounds it. Dixie Chicken has been serving cheap, classic burgers and fried food since 1974 inside a room covered in rattlesnake floorboards, thousands of longneck bottles, and decades of Aggie memorabilia.

Come for the Ring Dunk tradition, stay for the burgers and the people-watching. This is Aggie culture in a building.

The Corner Bar & Rooftop Grill

The Backyard on Northgate

The largest outdoor space on the entire strip — a sprawling beer garden with a fire pit, cornhole, games, and the biggest screen in the district. Eat before the rush. Restaurants near Northgate are packed 2–3 hours before kickoff and wait times spike fast.
